Patient who died at Bharatpur quarantine camp tests negative for COVID-19

CHITWAN: A patient who died at the special quarantine camp of Bharatpur Hospital has tested negative for the coronavirus.

Santosh Yadav, 30, from Birgunj died in the course of treatment on Tuesday morning.

Taking to Khabarhub, Dr Bhoj Raj Adhikari of corona special hospital said that Yadav died of ‘auto immune disease’ not due to coronavirus.

The hospital had sent his throat swab to the central laboratory in Kathmandu for the test on Monday itself.

He had been suffering from various ailments related to kidney, skin and lung.

Yadav had been admitted to special quarantine camp at Bharatpur Hospital after he complained of high fever and cough.
