Over 100 Nepalis stranded in Panitanki border point

KAKARVITTA: More than 100 Nepalis coming home from India have been stranded in the eastern border of Panitanki from early morning today.

They are awaiting approval from the officials to enter Nepal.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) at Area Police Office, Kakadbhitta Rajendra Pokharel informed that Indian police officials have informed the Nepali side that more than 100 Nepalis were staying in the Indian territory expecting to enter Nepal.

On Monday, a total of 731 Nepalis had entered Nepal from India while Nepali officials issued approval to 2,236 Indians to go to India through the border point.
