Lalitpur Metropolitan City begins manufacturing sanitizer



KATHMANDU: Lalitpur Metropolitan City (LMC) has started manufacturing sanitizer in collaboration with the Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST).

The LMC has said it is manufacturing sanitizer as per the standards set by the WHO by using local alcohol as raw materials.

“The LMC is training six medical officials including  a representative on producing sanitizer by using local hooch,” said Raju Maharjan, spokesperson of the LMC.

The six-day training began yesterday.
