Medical report mandatory for foreigners from Tuesday

KATHMANDU: The government has made it mandatory for foreigners visiting Nepal to submit a medical report to confirm that they are not infected with the coronavirus.

The foreigners coming to visit Nepal especially from China, South Korea, Italy, Iran and Japan have to submit their medical reports at the Department of Immigration (DoI).

This rule will apply to even those foreigners visiting Nepal making these countries as a transit point.

The rule will take effect from Tuesday.
