KATHMANDU: The Ministry for Health and Population has affirmed that the country has proved corona litmus neutral so far though 432 samples were taken for the tests.

A Nepali national who had returned from China on January 23 was found infected and sent to quarantine, but later he also recovered and returned home safe.

According to the ministry sources, there has been no fatality from corona-infection in Nepal.

“Despite the fact that there has been no fatality caused by corona, we have been taking all precautions possible to ward off the epidemic of COVID-19,” Dr. Bikash Devkota, the spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population said.

However, the Ministry along with the government has appealed all to take every precaution like washing hands properly and frequently, informing the concerned authority in case of corona-infection or help in the search and identification of the potential infected persons.
