Three killed, 4 injured in Dailekh jeep accident



DAILEKH: Three passengers were killed and four injured while a jeep heading to Surkhet from Dharampokhara, Dailekh met with an accident at Raute Galchena, a place bordering Dailekh and Surkhet on Wednesday.

Karnali Province 02-001 Ja- 0007 jeep had seven passengers on board when it skided off the road and fell nearly 400 meters down.

According to Ram Bahadur Rana, a police constable involved in rescue effort the deceased are Dev Bahadur Khadka 55 from Chinggad Rural Municipality, and Khadga Bahadur Budhathoki 45 and his wife Goma Budhathoki 40 from Birendranagar Municipality.

According to the police, the injured are receiving treatment at Birendranagar based Province Hospital.
