KATHMANDU: Minister for Energy, Water Resource and Irrigation Barshaman Pun, Minister for Home Affairs Ram Bahadur Thapa and Minister for Forest and Environment Shakti Bahadur Basnet have held discussions on solving behavioral and legal constraints of development works.

During the meeting held at Home Ministry, an agreement was reached to solve the pertaining issues immediately.

Minister Pun, Energy Secretary Dinesh Kumar Ghimire and Nepal Electricity Authority Managing Director Kulman Ghising informed Home and Forest Ministers on issues related to hydropower unit and transmission line contraction.

Minister Pun proposed allowing electrification in settlements built on uncultivated lands.
