Dead body of trekker missing in Annapurna avalanche recovered

KATHMANDU: A dead body of one out of seven trekkers missing in the Annapurna region following an avalanche on January 17 has been recovered on Friday.

According to police, the dead body of guide Saroj Pariyar was found at Deurali of Annapurna Rural Municipality.

Search for six others missing trekkers including four South Korean nationals in the avalanche is underway.
