Complaint lodged against Anmol KC for dupery

KATHMANDU: A complaint has been lodged at Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu on Friday against famed Nepali actor Anmol KC for dupery.

DSP Hobindra Bogati at the range told Khabarhub that filmmakers Jayan Shrestha and Rupesh Khadgi filed the complaint against the actor for refusing to act in a film.

“We have received a complaint. A necessary investigation has been started,” he said.

Actor KC had signed an agreement to act in a film named ‘Thupaure’.

The film was to be directed by Samten Bhutia. KC had left the film after not liking the script. However, Bhutia had been claiming that the film is being produced.

The actor has been accused of taking Rs 500,000 in advance but refusing to act.
