KATHMANDU: Nepal’s leg spinner Sandeep Lamichhane has been picked from Asia XI side that will take on World XI in the two-match T20I series in Dhaka next month.
The competition is being organized as a part of the nationwide celebrations to mark the birth centenary of Sheikh Mujibur Rehman, often referred to as the father of the nation.
BCB president Nazmul Hassan announced the names of the players in Dhaka on Tuesday, naming Faf du Plessis, Chris Gayle, Rashid Khan and Jonny Bairstow among the members of the World XI side.
While, KL Rahul, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli and Mushfiqur Rahim others have been picked from Asia XI.
