PM Oli’s book ‘Vision to Action’ launched



KATHMANDU: ‘Vision to Action’, a collection of experiences of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and his vision for the country’s prosperity, has hit the market.

Rastrakabi (national poet) Madhav Prasad Ghimire and centenarian culture expert Satya Mohan Joshi jointly launched the book amid a special event organized at PM’s official residence in Baluwatar on Saturday on the occasion of PM Oli’s 70th birth anniversary.

PM Oli is turning 69 on Sunday.

PM Oli’s father Mohan Prasad Oli unveiled the cover of the book and offered his best wishes to PM Oli on the occasion.

Scripted in the English language, the book is divided into four sections, ‘imagination and duty (karma), ‘friendship and diplomacy’, ‘trade and investment’ and ‘work and labor’ compiling speeches and interviews he had delivered at different times on domestic and foreign policy.

Published by Ratna Pustak Bhandar, the book also talks about skills and experiences PM Oli has possessed while leading the country.

Addressing the event, PM Oli said problems of food and accommodation facing the poorest people had taken place due to lack of appropriate distribution of resources.

Stating that the government was effortful to bring prosperity to the country, he said, “The country has now got democracy after ending autocracy. The next journey is to the pathway of prosperity.”

Stating that the country would be free of homeless people, he said, “No one will have an empty stomach and no one will die of hunger. The government will take care of them.”

He stressed the need for maintaining relations with neighboring countries having different political, economic and social characteristics while developing balanced, effective and proper foreign relations with them.
