Nepal ranked 112th in global internet speed rankings

KATHMANDU: Nepal has been ranked 112th in the global rankings of the internet speed based on the fixed-line.

As per the global ranking made public by Speedtest, Nepal has been placed 127th when it comes to mobile internet speed.

If the rankings are something to go by, Nepal has higher internet speed compared to India. India has been ranked one spot below Nepal in mobile internet speed.

As per the data for January, Nepal’s fixed internet has an average download speed of 21.05 Mbps and the average upload speed is 19.80 Mbps.

Likewise, Nepal’s mobile internet has an average download speed of 12.43 Mbps and the average upload speed is 7.21 Mbps.
