KATHMANDU: A task force formed to amend the national aviation policy has handed over a draft to the government.
Coordinator of the task force Yagya Prasad Gautam on Wednesday submitted the proposed ‘National Aviation Policy 2076’ to the Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Yogesh Bhattarai.
While receiving the draft, Minister Bhattarai said the government would not compromise on the security of airspace.
Minister Bhattarai also said that aviation policy is focused on providing services to consumers.
The aviation policy bars the purchase of aircraft that have completed 15 years of service and 35,000 cycles.
