KATHMANDU: A promotional event for Visit Nepal 2020 has been organized in Nicosia, Cyprus.

The event organized by Nepali Embassy in coordination with Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) witnessed the presence of high-ranking officials of the Cyprus government, representatives of airlines and travel companies and businessmen among others.

Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Bhattarai was also present on the occasion.

The event was attended by some 100 Cypriot and 100 Nepalis.

Nepali Ambassador Anjan Shakya and NTB senior director Nandini Thapa made presentations on Nepal’s ambitious campaign to attract two million tourists.
