APF defeats Friends Club 5-2 in ‘A’ Division League

KATHMANDU: Armed Police Force (APF) defeated Friends Club 5-2 in the ongoing Martyr’s Memorial ‘A’ Division League on Monday.

Aashish Lama and Prabin Syangtan netted two goals each for the departmental team as Top Bahadur Bista scored one goal at the match played at the Saatdobato-based ANFA Complex.

Lama scored in the 12th and 40th minute of the game while Syangtan scored in the 71st and injury time of the second half. Bista also scored in the injury time.

Philipe De and Bishwo Adhikari scored a goal each for Friends in the 68th and 75th minutes of the game.

With the win, APF has moved to the 12th position in the points table.
