Four missing trekkers rescued in Myagdi



MYAGDI: Four trekkers who had gone missing in Khopra Lekh located in Annapurna Rural Municipality since Thursday afternoon has been rescued on Saturday.

They had gone missing since Thursday while heading to Narchang Beshi village from Khopra Lekh.

According to Chief District Officer Gyan Nath Dhakal, the trekkers were rescued through a chopper.

The rescued trekkers are Suman Bhatta, 24, of Geta Municipality-6 in Kailali, Sanjit Lama, 23, of Charikot-5 in Dolakha, Ankit Sha, 24, and Abhishek Mahato of Barhatawa-4 in Sarlahi.
