Mediciti launches sophisticated PICU

KATHMANDU: Nepal Mediciti Hospital has launched a sophisticated Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (IPCU) amid a special function.

Dedicated to children, the unit was inaugurated by incumbent doctors by cutting a ribbon on Wednesday.

The hospital launched the PICU taking the current number of people of the world into consideration, said Bijaya Rimal, general manager of the hospital.

The 10-bed PICU, which runs for 24 hours a day and seven days a week, officially came into operation from Wednesday (January 22).
