PM Oli, Dahal hold meeting after Deputy Speaker declines to step down



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister and Chairman of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) KP Oli and another Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal are holding a meeting on Sunday.

The Chairmen have sat for a meeting at PM’s official residence in Baluwatar after Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr. Shiva Maya Tumbahangphe declined to resign.

A Secretarial meeting of the party held on Saturday had asked the Deputy Speaker to resign. However, she is not for quitting anytime soon.

Meanwhile, a meeting of House of Representatives has been slated at 1 pm today.
