NOC mints Rs 7.50 billion profit



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) that had been incurring loss for the past five years has made Rs 7.50 billion profit in the fiscal year 2018/19.

The data was made public during the golden jubilee celebrations of the state-owned oil monopoly on Saturday.

NOC paid Rs 63.85 million tax to the government under customs, road repair tax, environmental tax, VAT, infrastructure development tax and income taxes in the last fiscal.
