Minister Gyawali expresses sorrow over destruction caused by fire in Australia



KATHMANDU: Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Gyawali on Monday expressed sorrow over the destruction caused by bush fires in Australia.

Minister took to twitter saying that he is saddened over the loss of lives of many people and millions of animals, flora n fauna, damages to properties and basic infrastructure by the bushfire that engulfed several parts of Australia.

He has also expressed his deep condolences to the government and the people of Australia.

Meanwhile, the Australian Ambassador to Nepal Pete Budd has thanked Minister Gyawali for the message. In his message, Ambassador Budd has thanked Minister Gyawali of supporting all those Nepalis who have also reached out with their messages and offers of assistance.
