CHAUTARA: A jeep en route to Kalinchowk Temple based in Dolakha from Sitapaila, Kathmandu met with an accident on Saturday morning.

The mishap happened at Chhakilo along the Lamosanghu Jiri road section at Sunkoshi rural municipality-7 in Sindhupalchowk, leaving seven injured.

Among the injured, one has sustained a serious injury to head and has been rushed to Kathmandu.

Others are out of a life-threatening condition, according to Area Police Office Bahrabise Police Inspector Nawaraj Neupane.

The jeep, Ba 2 Cha 6965, fell some 10 meters down from the road. It may be noted that the bus accident that occurred at the same place on December 15 had ended in the deaths of 16, leaving 19 hurt.
