BARDIYA: Three people died after a truck met with an accident at Thakurbaba Municipality-2 along the East-West Highway in the district on Wednesday.
Two women and one man were killed in the accident. The man has been identified as Min Bahadur Shahi while the identities of the women are yet to be ascertained.
The ill-fated truck, Lu 2 Kha 1068, was heading to Dhangadhi from Bhairahawa.
Truck driver Karna Bahadur Chaudhari of Ghorahi Sub-metropolitan City-11, who sustained injuries in the accident, is undergoing treatment at Medical College Kohalpur, said police.
