NEW DELHI: Numbing cold continues to sweep through New Delhi-NCR on Tuesday.

Indian media reports said fog blanketed several parts of New Delhi on Tuesday. The minimum temperature at 8 am was 5 degrees Celsius in the Indian capital.

According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the eastern and western parts of the state are likely to witness brief rains on Tuesday and January 1, 2020.

On Tuesday, the overall air quality in New Delhi stood at 381 this morning falling under the ‘severe’ category. (Agencies)
