Former branch manager of Nepal Bank arrested



KATHMANDU: The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police has arrested former branch manager of Nepal Bank Limited, Dillibazar Bhupraj Koirala.

According to police, Koirala was arrested on the charge of banking fraud.

He has been accused of receiving inappropriate benefits by creating false liabilities during his tenure as a branch manager.

Patan High Court has remanded Koirala to seven-day in judicial custody after he was charge-sheeted with a crime as per the Banking Offence and Punishment Act, 2064.
