5 Biplav cadres involved in bomb-making arrested in Kathmandu



KATHMANDU: Special Bureau of Kathmandu police has arrested five leaders of Biplav outfit involved in making bombs at their underground shelter in Budhanilkantha, Kathmandu.

According to the police, all five were detained while they were busy preparing the explosives at their ‘underground’ shelter.

The arrested include Sanjeev Lama, the secretary of Biplav outfit’s student union, treasurer Tilak Bahadur Gurung, secretary at the central office Wakil Gharti, and Trilochan BK and Durga Bahadur Tamang.

Police have seized few explosives, some devices used for making bombs, raw materials for making explosives and a pistol from them.
