KATHMANDU: Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun attended a reception on Monday evening hosted by Qatar’s Ambassador to Nepal, Yousuf bin Mohamed al-Hail on the occasion of the National Day of the State of Qatar and the commemoration of Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani, the founder of the State of Qatar.
Members of the Council of Ministers of Nepal, lawmakers, former prime ministers, chief of constitutional bodies, former ministers, chiefs and office bearers of Nepal-based diplomatic missions were present on the occasion.
Also present on the occasion included representatives of partners in Nepal’s development, leaders of various political parties, industrialists, businesspersons, senior officials of the Government of Nepal and media-persons among others. The venue for the reception was Soaltee Crown Plaza.
