Court refuses stay order against bike-hailing services



KATHMANDU: Patan High Court on Monday refused to issue an interim order against bike-hailing services Tootle and Pathao.

A joint bench of Judges Prabha Basnet and Shanta Sedhain declined to stay the ride-sharing services while responding to a writ filed by taxi entrepreneurs.

The court maintained that a decision will be taken after a final hearing.

Nepal Meter Taxi Entrepreneurs Association had moved the court naming Tootle, Pathao, Department of Transport Management and Traffic Police as defendants.
