KATHMANDU: The secretariat meeting of the major ruling party, Nepal Communist Party (NCP), is all set to take place at 3:00 pm on Saturday.
According to Ishwori Rijal, secretary of the party central office, the Secretariat meeting held on December 9 had called the meeting to review November 30 by-election results, discuss strengthening the party organization and determine the agenda of the standing committee meeting scheduled for December 15.
Earlier, The Nepal Communist Party Secretariat meeting which was scheduled for Friday had been postponed citing the busy schedule of the leaders.
Though the then CPN (UML) and CPN (Maoist-Centre) had been united on May 17, 2017, to form the present NCP, the unification process at all levels is yet to be completed.
