Gold price drops by Rs 200 per tola



KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices have continued to decline in the domestic market with a decline in the international market. The gold price has continued to fall since Wednesday.

The price of precious yellow metal decreased by Rs 200 per tola on Tuesday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.

The price of worked gold has been fixed at Rs 70,800 and tejabi gold at Rs 70,500 for today. The gold price has decreased by Rs 1,400 in the past week.

The silver price has also dropped in the domestic market. The silver price witnessed a decline of Rs 5 and reached Rs 830 per tola.

On Wednesday, the worked gold was traded at Rs 72,200 and tejabi gold at Rs 71,900. Gold price decreased by Rs 200 on Thursday, Rs 200 more on Friday, slumped by Rs 300 on Friday, dropped by Rs 500 on Sunday and Rs 200 per tola on Monday.
