Bangladesh posts 151-run target against Sri Lanka



KATHMANDU: Bangladesh U-23 has posted a 151-run target for Sri Lanka U-23 to win the men’s cricket of the South Asian Games (SAG) played at TU cricket ground in Kirtipur on Sunday.

Put to bat first after losing the toss, Bangladesh reached 150 runs losing six wickets in the stipulated 20 overs as Yasir Ali hit 51 runs off 45 balls smashing five fours and a six.

Mahidul Islam Ankon and Zakir Hasan contributed 44 and 20 runs respectively.

Asitha Fernando of Sri Lanka grabbed two wickets.
