Sabitra Bhandari becomes top goal scorer for Nepal

KATHMANDU: Nepal women’s football team star player Sabitra Bhandari has become the women footballer to score most goals for Nepal in the international matches.

Bhandari was successful to register her name in the record book after she scored two goals against the Maldives in the ongoing South Asian Games (SAG) played at Pokhara Stadium on Thursday. She scored goals in the 16th and 20th minutes of the game.

Bhandari broke the record of 35 goals in international matches by former captain Anu Lama.
