NCP wins in Dang State Assembly-3 (B)

DANG: Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has won provincial by-elections in Dang-3 (B) held on Saturday.

Bimala Kumari Khatri of NCP has been elected as the provincial assembly member with 24, 286 votes. Her closest rival Keshav Sharma of Nepali Congress secured 19, 182 votes.

Out of 68,719 eligible voters, 45,718 votes were cast.

In the general election held in 2017, NCP had clinched a win.
