PM Oli’s heath improving, starts taking solid foods

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli’s health condition has been improving rapidly, Prime Minister’s Press Advisor Surya Thapa said on Saturday.

The prime minister took solid foods today and also walked briefly inside the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on the fifth day after undergoing surgery for appendicitis, according to Thapa.

PM had undergone the surgery at Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Center at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) premises on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, well-wishers can extend their best wishes to the prime minister for his speedy recovery via a website.

According to the prime minister’s secretariat, anyone wishing to extend best wishes to PM, he/she can visit kpsharmaoli.com.np to send the message.

Thapa shared that online sharing of best wishes to PM was arranged for the convenience of the well-wishers from the country and abroad.
