Two persons including Indian national arrested for hundi transaction

SIRAHA: Police on Friday arrested two persons including an Indian national with Rs 1.3 million for their alleged involvement in illegal money transfer called hundi.

The arrested are Ram Shankar Yadav, 26, of Bhagwanpur-4 of Siraha and Ashok Kumar Jha, 28, of Madhubani, Bihar.

They were arrested from Bhagwanpur-4 as they entered Nepal from India on a motorcycle BR 32 AH 0335, DSP Bhesraj Rijal said.

According to police, the duo has been involved in hundi transactions for long.
