Bhaktapur puts ban on vehicular movement tomorrow

KATHMANDU: In view of the by-election, the Metropolitan Police Range, Bhaktapur has decided to put a ban on vehicular movement on Saturday.

Constituency number 1 of Bhaktapur is going to have a by-election to choose its representative for the province assembly. The restriction of vehicles will become effective from Friday midnight and shall end at 9 pm on Saturday.

However, the vehicle restriction shall not be imposed on ambulance, the hearse, fire brigade, election  and the vehicles having the election commission’s pass.

The areas to be affected

All vehicles heading north from Radheradhe-Sanga route and towards East from Radhe Radhe to Nikoshera routes shall be restricted to use the route.

Similarly, the vehicles heading north from Pepsicola, Manohara to Nikoshera should also abstain the route.

Vehicles are restricted on all routes leading to Bhaktapur from Kathmandu except Pepsicola, Manohara, and Jadibuti.

Similarly, all routes heading to Bhaktapur from Kavre except Sanga are closed.
