KATHMANDU: Despite ‘significant’ improvement in Prime Minister KP Oli’s health, doctors have advised him to ‘take rest’ in the hospital for another one week.

PM Oli’s personal doctor Dr. Divya Singh Shah informed that the Prime Minister is recuperating and is ‘out of danger’.

“He, however, needs to take rest for another one week,” she told Khabarhub adding, “Most probably it will take a week for him to be discharged from the hospital.”

Doctors also say PM Oli has started to eat solid food from today.

Prime Minister Oli has also been suggested to refrain from holding meetings for another 10 days.

PM Oli, who underwent an operation for appendicitis and dialysis this week is under doctors’ constant observation at the Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Centre.

A team of doctors led by Dr Ramesh Singh Bhandari conducted surgery for appendicitis of Prime Minister Oli.

The prime minister has been undergoing regular dialysis at the hospital after the kidney that was transplanted some 12 years ago stopped functioning.
