UML Chair not to attend NC General convention



KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chair KP Sharma Oli has decided not to attend the inauguration ceremony of the Nepali Congress’s 15th general convention, scheduled to be held at the Khula Manch in Kathmandu today.

Oli had earlier said that he would attend the ceremony but changed his decision unexpectedly on Sunday. His secretariat chief, Nirudevi Pal, confirmed the decision. “Chairma Oli will not attend the general convention,” Pal said. She did not disclose the reason for Oli’s decision.
