KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) Balendra Shah has called on all concerned authorities to coordinate their efforts to rescue, search for, and provide relief to citizens affected by the severe floods in Rasuwa.
A meeting of the National Council for Disaster Risk Reduction and Management was held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar to assess the damage caused by the floods that struck Rasuwa this morning.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, officials briefed the meeting on the extent of the damage and the situation on the ground.
Following the briefing, Prime Minister Shah instructed all relevant stakeholders to take necessary steps to respond to the disaster.
He also urged authorities and individuals to work from their respective locations to support search, rescue, and relief operations for citizens affected by the floods.
