NRB issues today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 153.16 and the selling rate at Rs 153.76.

The buying rate of one euro has been fixed at Rs 174.60 and the selling rate at Rs 175.29. The buying rate of one UK pound sterling has been fixed at Rs 204.25 and the selling rate at Rs 205.05, while the buying rate of one Swiss franc has been fixed at Rs 188.01 and the selling rate at Rs 188.74.

Similarly, the buying rate of one Australian dollar has been fixed at Rs 107.27 and the selling rate at Rs 107.69. The buying rate of one Canadian dollar has been fixed at Rs 108.59 and the selling rate at Rs 109.01, while the buying rate of one Singapore dollar has been fixed at Rs 118.75 and the selling rate at Rs 119.22.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen has been fixed at Rs 9.37 and the selling rate at Rs 9.40. The buying rate of one Chinese yuan has been fixed at Rs 22.64 and the selling rate at Rs 22.73, the buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal at Rs 40.80 and the selling rate at Rs 40.96, and the buying rate of one Qatari riyal at Rs 42.01 and the selling rate at Rs 42.18.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht has been fixed at Rs 4.56 and the selling rate at Rs 4.58. The buying rate of one UAE dirham has been fixed at Rs 41.70 and the selling rate at Rs 41.87, while the buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit has been fixed at Rs 37.49 and the selling rate at Rs 37.64.

The buying rate of 100 South Korean won has been fixed at Rs 10.43 and the selling rate at Rs 10.47. The buying rate of one Swedish krona has been fixed at Rs 15.82 and the selling rate at Rs 15.88, while the buying rate of one Danish krone has been fixed at Rs 23.36 and the selling rate at Rs 23.45.

The central bank has set the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 19.53 and the selling rate at Rs 19.61, the buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar at Rs 497.60 and the selling rate at Rs 499.55, the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar at Rs 406.21 and the selling rate at Rs 407.80, and the buying rate of one Omani rial at Rs 397.80 and the selling rate at Rs 399.36.

The buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160 and the selling rate at Rs 160.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. The exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ, and the latest exchange rates are available on the central bank’s website.
