NRB issues today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the foreign exchange rates for today (Sunday). According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 152.04, while the selling rate stands at Rs 152.64.

The buying rate of one euro has been set at Rs 173.96 and the selling rate at Rs 174.65. One UK pound sterling is being bought at Rs 202.99 and sold at Rs 203.79, while one Swiss franc is being bought at Rs 189.30 and sold at Rs 190.05.

Similarly, the buying rate of one Australian dollar is Rs 105.50 and the selling rate is Rs 105.92. One Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs 107.18 and sold at Rs 107.61, while one Singapore dollar is being bought at Rs 117.79 and sold at Rs 118.26.

The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen has been fixed at Rs 9.44 and the selling rate at Rs 9.47. One Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs 22.41 and sold at Rs 22.50. The buying and selling rates for one Saudi Arabian riyal have been set at Rs 40.49 and Rs 40.65, respectively, while one Qatari riyal is being bought at Rs 41.71 and sold at Rs 41.88.

According to the NRB, the buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs 4.59 and the selling rate is Rs 4.61. One UAE dirham is being bought at Rs 41.40 and sold at Rs 41.56, while one Malaysian ringgit is being bought at Rs 37.35 and sold at Rs 37.49.

The buying and selling rates for 100 South Korean won are Rs 9.93 and Rs 9.97, respectively. One Swedish krona is being bought at Rs 15.76 and sold at Rs 15.82, while one Danish krone is being bought at Rs 23.28 and sold at Rs 23.37.

The central bank has also fixed the buying and selling rates of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 19.39 and Rs 19.46, respectively. One Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs 493.80 and sold at Rs 495.75, while one Bahraini dinar is being bought at Rs 403.30 and sold at Rs 404.89.

The buying rate of one Omani riyal has been set at Rs 394.91 and the selling rate at Rs 396.47. The buying rate of Indian currency has been fixed at Rs 160 for INR 100, while the selling rate has been set at Rs 160.15.

The Nepal Rastra Bank said the exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. It also noted that rates quoted by commercial banks may vary, and the latest exchange rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
