Constitution amendment task force to submit report by mid-July



KATHMANDU: Asim Shah, Prime Minister Balen Shah’s chief political adviser and coordinator of the task force formed to prepare a discussion paper on constitutional amendment, has said the panel is preparing to submit its report to the prime minister by the end of Asar (mid-July).

Speaking at a press conference on Saturday marking the government’s first 100 days in office, Shah said the task force is making steady progress on its assignment.

“We are preparing to submit the report to the prime minister by the end of Asar. The task force has been consulting various stakeholders, constitutional experts, and political parties. We have now reached the report-writing stage,” he said.
