Parliament Secretariat to provide orientation training to MPs



KATHMANDU: The Federal Parliament Secretariat is set to conduct a two-day orientation program for members of the House of Representatives (HoR) to familiarize them with parliamentary procedures and practices.

According to a notice issued by the Secretariat’s Parliamentary Training Branch, the program will be held on June 29 and 30.

The first day’s session will run from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, while the second day’s training is scheduled from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Deputy Secretary of the Parliamentary Training Branch, Baburam Basyal, said the orientation is aimed at enhancing lawmakers’ understanding of parliamentary procedures and practices.

The Secretariat has requested all members of the House of Representatives to attend the training program.
