RSP delegation led by Lamichhane to meet India’s Home Minister today

KATHMANDU: A delegation led by Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chair Rabi Lamichhane, currently on a visit to India, is scheduled to meet Indian Home Minister Amit Shah today.

The meeting is expected to focus on Nepal–India relations, mutual interests, democratic practices, security cooperation, and expanding dialogue and collaboration between political parties of both countries.

The delegation is in India at the invitation of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). According to sources, the team has already held several political engagements in New Delhi prior to today’s scheduled meeting.

The visit is being viewed as an opportunity to strengthen institutional and political ties between Nepal and India, particularly through enhanced party-to-party and leadership-level interactions.

During the visit, the delegation is also expected to meet other Indian political leaders, party officials, and stakeholders as part of its broader diplomatic and political engagement programme.
