Govt allocates Rs 5.93 billion for information and communication sector



KATHMANDU: The government has allocated Rs 5.93 billion for the information and communication sector in the upcoming fiscal year.

Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle made the announcement while presenting the budget for fiscal year 2026/27 in the Federal Parliament.

He said the allocation aims to support the development and expansion of the information and communication sector across the country.
