KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the foreign exchange rates for today.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 152.81, while the selling rate stands at Rs 153.41.
Similarly, the buying rate of one euro has been set at Rs 177.31 and the selling rate at Rs 178.00. The British pound sterling is valued at Rs 205.23 for buying and Rs 206.04 for selling.
The Swiss franc is priced at Rs 194.20 for buying and Rs 194.57 for selling. The Australian dollar has been fixed at Rs 108.85 for buying and Rs 109.27 for selling.
According to NRB, the Canadian dollar is being traded at Rs 110.76 for buying and Rs 111.19 for selling, while the Singapore dollar stands at Rs 119.34 and Rs 119.81 respectively.
The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen has been fixed at Rs 9.60 and the selling rate at Rs 9.64. Likewise, the Chinese yuan is valued at Rs 22.59 for buying and Rs 22.68 for selling.
The Saudi Arabian riyal is fixed at Rs 40.72 for buying and Rs 40.88 for selling, while the Qatari riyal stands at Rs 41.94 and Rs 42.10 respectively.
Similarly, the Thai baht is being traded at Rs 4.67 for buying and Rs 4.69 for selling. The UAE dirham has been fixed at Rs 41.61 and Rs 41.77 respectively, while the Malaysian ringgit stands at Rs 38.51 for buying and Rs 38.66 for selling.
The buying rate of 100 South Korean won has been fixed at Rs 10.07 and the selling rate at Rs 10.11. The Swedish krona is valued at Rs 16.31 for buying and Rs 16.37 for selling, while the Danish krone stands at Rs 23.71 and Rs 23.80 respectively.
Likewise, the Hong Kong dollar is being exchanged at Rs 19.50 for buying and Rs 19.58 for selling. The Kuwaiti dinar has been fixed at Rs 498.80 for buying and Rs 500.73 for selling, while the Bahraini dinar stands at Rs 405.28 and Rs 406.87 respectively.
The Omani riyal is valued at Rs 396.90 for buying and Rs 398.46 for selling. Meanwhile, the exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160.00 for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling.
NRB stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. The central bank also noted that rates set by commercial banks may differ, and updated exchange rates are available on the NRB website.
