KAILALI: Police have arrested Chhabilal Haujali, ward chairperson of Mohanyal rural municipality-5 in Kailali district, on the charge of thrashing office assistant Tulasara Sijali.
Chief of Area Police Office, Sukhad, Police Inspector Harisharan Bhatta informed that Haujali was arrested after the woman victim filed a complaint against Haujali at the Area Police Office, Sukhad, saying that Haujali thrashed her.
An investigation into the case was underway, he said.
