LOD Club ranked 40th among world’s top DJ clubs for 2026

KATHMANDU: LOD Club has been ranked 40th among the world’s top DJ clubs for 2026.

The ranking was published by the UK-based magazine DJ Mag in its annual list of the Top 100 Clubs worldwide.

The publication releases the list every year following a global competition among international nightlife venues. More than 500 clubs from around the world participated in this year’s ranking.

Director of LOD Club, Bhupen Kunwar, described the achievement as a matter of pride for the country. He said the recognition is not limited to the club’s success but also helps introduce Nepal to the global music and entertainment industry.

Kunwar said securing the 40th position in the Top 100 Clubs list is a notable achievement for promoting nightlife culture and tourism. According to him, the recognition could help attract more international tourists and club enthusiasts to Nepal.

He credited the club’s continued growth and reputation to teamwork, creativity and service quality.

“This achievement has made us more responsible. In the coming days, we aim to expand the club further in line with international standards,” Kunwar said.

He added that the recognition also highlights the potential of Nepal’s nightlife and entertainment sector, which is closely linked to the tourism industry.

LOD Club has steadily improved its global ranking over the years. It was ranked 44th in 2025, 50th in 2024, 49th in 2023 and 52nd in 2022.
