NRB issues today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is Rs 149.10, while the selling rate is Rs 149.70.

Similarly, the buying rate of one euro is Rs 175.59 and the selling rate is Rs 176.29. The UK pound sterling is being traded at Rs 201.95 for buying and Rs 202.76 for selling, while the Swiss franc stands at Rs 190.48 for buying and Rs 191.25 for selling.

Among other major currencies, the Australian dollar is priced at Rs 106.41 (buying) and Rs 106.83 (selling), the Canadian dollar at Rs 108.15 and Rs 108.59, and the Singapore dollar at Rs 117.17 and Rs 117.64.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.38 and the selling rate is Rs 9.42. The Chinese yuan is valued at Rs 21.86 (buying) and Rs 21.95 (selling), while the Saudi Arabian riyal stands at Rs 39.74 and Rs 39.90. The Qatari riyal is set at Rs 40.90 for buying and Rs 41.06 for selling.

According to the central bank, the Thai baht is being traded at Rs 4.64 (buying) and Rs 4.66 (selling), the UAE dirham at Rs 40.59 and Rs 40.76, and the Malaysian ringgit at Rs 37.70 and Rs 37.85. The buying rate of 100 South Korean won is Rs 10.09 and the selling rate is Rs 10.13.

The Swedish krona is priced at Rs 16.19 (buying) and Rs 16.26 (selling), while the Danish krone stands at Rs 23.50 and Rs 23.59.

Likewise, the Hong Kong dollar is set at Rs 19.03 (buying) and Rs 19.11 (selling). The Kuwaiti dinar is valued at Rs 486.70 and Rs 488.66, the Bahraini dinar at Rs 395.23 and Rs 396.82, and the Omani rial at Rs 387.27 and Rs 388.83.

The exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160 for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these rates may be revised at any time as needed. The exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ, and updated rates are available on the central bank’s website.
