Two youths die in road accident in Kailali



KAILALI: Two people have died after a speeding vehicle hit a motorcycle in Kailali district.

The accident occurred last evening at Gulra in Lamkichuha Municipality-7 along the East-West Highway when a vehicle collided with a motorcycle.

The riders, identified as Gagan Rana Magar, 33, of Lamkichuha Municipality-8, and Pushpa Sunar, 24, of the same locality, sustained serious injuries in the crash.

They were rushed to Tikapur Hospital for treatment, where both succumbed to their injuries, police said.

Authorities are searching for the driver of the vehicle, while the vehicle owner has been taken into custody for further investigation.
