Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has set the foreign exchange rates for today (Friday).

The buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 147.96, while the selling rate stands at Rs 148.56.

Similarly, the buying rate of one euro is Rs 172.82 and the selling rate Rs 173.53. The UK pound sterling is priced at Rs 198.45 for buying and Rs 199.26 for selling, while the Swiss franc stands at Rs 187.05 (buying) and Rs 187.81 (selling).

The Australian dollar is valued at Rs 104.13 for buying and Rs 104.55 for selling, the Canadian dollar at Rs 106.86 and Rs 107.29, and the Singapore dollar at Rs 116.07 and Rs 116.54, respectively.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.31 and the selling rate is Rs 9.35. One Chinese yuan is being traded at Rs 21.64 (buying) and Rs 21.72 (selling). Similarly, the Saudi Arabian riyal is priced at Rs 39.43 and Rs 39.59, while the Qatari riyal stands at Rs 40.58 and Rs 40.75.

According to the central bank, the Thai baht is set at Rs 4.61 for buying and Rs 4.63 for selling. The UAE dirham is priced at Rs 40.29 and Rs 40.45, the Malaysian ringgit at Rs 37.15 and Rs 37.30, and 100 South Korean won at Rs 9.99 and Rs 10.03. The Swedish kronor stands at Rs 15.88 (buying) and Rs 15.95 (selling), while the Danish kronor is valued at Rs 23.13 and Rs 23.22.

The buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar has been fixed at Rs 18.89 and the selling rate at Rs 18.96. The Kuwaiti dinar stands at Rs 482.74 (buying) and Rs 484.70 (selling), the Bahraini dinar at Rs 392.21 and Rs 393.80, and the Omani rial at Rs 384.31 and Rs 385.87.

Similarly, the buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been set at Rs 160, while the selling rate is Rs 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that the exchange rates are subject to revision at any time as required. Rates set by commercial banks may vary, and updated rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
